Word:

Don't let anyone look down on you for being young. Instead, make your speech, bechavior, love, faith, and purity an example for other believers. Until I get there, concentrate on reading [Scripture] in worship, giving encouraging messages, and teaching people. Don't neglect the gift which you have recieved through prophecy when the spiritual leaders placed their hands on you. Practice these things. Devote your life to them so that everyone can see your progress. Focus on your life and on your teaching. Continue to do what I've told you. If you do this, you will save yourself and those who hear you.

- 1 Timothy 4:12-16

Thought:

We are young people in an adult world. How many times do you hear other teenagers say things like, "Yo...duuude, I'm gonna be 18 in 2 days. Sweetness man...." We as youth want to grow up. Jesus calls for servants with "child-like faith." Jesus can use and does use young people! Live your life for Christ; others will see you and learn from your example. Don't think for a micro-nanobyte of time that just because you're young means that you can't reach others for God. You would be surprised just how much of an impact your life can have on others...

Prayer:

"Lord Jesus, help me to remember that my life is a witness for You to others. Help me to keep my life pure so that others might see Your love, light, and life inside of me. Help me, oh Lord, to be a vessel for You on this earth. Thank You Jesus for giving me the chance to tell others about You. Amen."
