We would like to invite you to join us. What is it that I am inviting you to? Well CCYM of course! What is CCYM you ask? The NCNY Conference Council on Youth Ministries or CCYM is a group of youth from all across the North Central New York Conference that join together to help each other to keep their strong faiths in God and plan some amazing events. Each year CCYM puts on two retreats at Casowasco and once every other month the group joins together for a weekend to plan these retreats. We also join the three other conferences, Troy, Western and Wyoming for 4Word.

Everything in CCYM is run by youth for youth. We assemble, plan and run the meetings and retreats.

Each CCYMer has their own experiences and their own ways but it is this that brings thegroup together to grow and become one family. There is no doubt in my mind that CCYM has been the greatest decision that I have ever made. So if you are interested in knowing what it is like to be a part of this family come and give us a try. The Winter Retreat is open to all those currently in 7th-12th grade so alert you parents, your friends, your church and all those who may be interested about this event! It just may be the greatest choice you ever make!

YOUTH LEADING YOUTH TO CHRIST

Are you a teen in grades 9-12, who loves the Lord, and is active in your church's ministry to youth? Do you desire to lead other youth to Christ? Do you enjoy good Christian fellowship with friends? Then you might consider applying to serve on the Conference Council on Youth Ministry! The CCYM is made up of 35 youth from churches all over the conference, who develop conference-wide rallies for youth, travel, stay up late, have a lot of fun, and make friends that are friends forever.

You will need:
(1) to pray about it;
(2) to be active in your local church;
(3) to get a recommendation;
(4) to get your parents' consent;
(5) to tell us why you desire to serve.
