COSHA is a committee that is committed to assisting all who serve in a ministerial role to build healthy relationships and maintain appropriate boundaries. COSHA is committed to assisting local churches and conference agencies in understanding and following conference policy on sexual harassment and abuse.

Because COSHA is a joint committee, it is made up of representatives from several other conference groups. Groups represented on COSHA include: The Committee on the Status and Role of Women (COSROW), Camps, Conferences and Retreat Ministries (CCRM), the Board of Ordained Ministries (BOOM), the Lay Ministries Team, and the Cabinet. Also on the committee are several representatives appointed by the bishop and the conference advocates.
