Former Mohawk District Superintendent John Nuessle, now on the staff of the General Board of Global Ministries, is attending General Conference, representing the organization at committee meetings and plenary sessions. He also has time for conversation with NCNY friends, and sends greetings to all in North Central New York!

When the Rev. Dr. Thom White Wolf Fassett met Native American friends for the first time at General Conference, they presented him with a beaded lapel pin they had made especially for them. "Wear this," they said, "and when someone asks, say your friends gave it to you because you are a candidate for the Episcopacy in the Northeastern Jurisdiction and your brothers and sisters support you." Thom says the group includes people from California, Idaho, Michigan, North Carolina, Washington, DC, and other areas across the country.
